Adoption
Adoption is a form of permanent care
When a child is no longer able to permanently live with his or her natural family, Family and Children’s Service of Lanark, Leeds and Grenville seeks a permanent alternative to ensure the child’s care and wellbeing.
Adoption is intended to provide children with permanence and security. Children of all ages can be adopted. They come from a variety of cultural, racial, ethnic and religious backgrounds. Some children are adopted with their brothers and sisters.
