Child Welfare Record Checks

When individuals, employers, private adoption practitioners, or a non-CPIN child welfare organization inside or outside of Ontario want to know if an individual has been involved with Family and Children’s Services of Lanark, Leeds and Grenville, a request for a Child Welfare Record Check can be made.

What you will need:

  • If you are requesting a record check for someone else, you must provide the consent of the individual(s) whose personal information you are requesting, a court order, or other legal authority.

Note: The requester will receive a letter only. No records are provided through the Child Welfare Record Check process.
