Black History Month

Family and Children’s Services of Lanark, Leeds and Grenville would like to take this opportunity to voice the celebration of Black History Month. In 2015, One Vision One Voice was launched by the Ontario Association of Children’s Aid Society’s. The program focuses on addressing anti-black racism and supporting improved outcomes and equitable services for African Canadian children, youth and families receiving services from the child welfare system. FCSLLG is committed to addressing the overrepresentation of African Canadian children in the care of Children’s Aid and the disproportionality and disparity experienced by Black children, youth and families.
